Flexibility
AIT Technology Training recognizes the many demands placed on our students. Work, family and
training all require commitments of time and energy, and we strive to assist our
students whenever scheduling conflicts arise. Students should feel free to adjust their
training schedules as needed, subject to the provisions of our policies. Students can
chose from daytime or nighttime courses to fit their needs, or a mix of both. AIT Technology Training
is committed to ensuring a technical training curriculum that meets the needs of our
diverse and divergent student population.
Cancellation and Substitution Policy:
Student substitutions may be made at any time prior to the start of class.
Students may cancel their classroom registration without penalty by providing AIT Technology Training with written notice by fax to 910-321-1300 or by email to training@ait.com at least 10 business days prior to the start date of the course.
If students cancel their reservation in writing to the above fax or email less than 10 but more than 2 business days prior to the start date of the course, they may apply their paid course tuition to the same course or another course of equal or lesser value for up to 6 months from the original course start date.
Failure to cancel with written notice less than 2 business days prior to the start date of the course, or failure to attend the course, will be considered a "No Show" and will result in forfeiture of 50% of the course price.
Referral Policy:
AIT Technology Training's referral bonus program offers anyone who refers a paying customer the
option of taking either cash or training credit based on the amount of training
purchased. Offer is limited to (1) one bonus per student referred. Each new student
must identify referral at time of purchase.
Test Vouchers:
Purchase of test vouchers is valid from 6 months to 1 year from the first day of the
first class attended. Test vouchers are included when the regular price is paid for any
CompTIA or Cisco courses. Microsoft courses do not include test vouchers. Special
promotions will not include test vouchers unless otherwise advertised.
Class Size Minimum:
AIT Technology Training requires a minimum of four (4) paying students to be scheduled for each
class that is taught. If the minimum number students are not enrolled, AIT Technology Training
reserves the right to reschedule the course.
Class Attendance:
Students have 1 year from date of purchase to attend all courses.
Second Time Around:
Students who have paid and attended an AIT Technology Training course may elect to audit
the class at any time during the calendar year following the first course, subject to
the provisions of this policy.
Alumni have 1 year from class completion to audit a class. The number of audits during this time period is unlimited.
Books and class materials will NOT be re-issued to students wishing to audit a class. Students who desire to re-sit a class must contact AIT Technology Training and indicate a preferred date. Second Time Around students are placed in a 'standby' status, and are NOT guaranteed a seat in the class.
AIT Technology Training ceases to accept new students for a class at 11 am the Friday prior to the class commencement, and Second Time Around students are enrolled in the upcoming class at that time. Second Time Around students who are bumped twice from re-sitting a class will be given new student status for the purposes of enrolment in the class. Second Time Around students should contact AIT Technology Training after 11 am on the Friday prior to class to confirm their enrolment in the upcoming course.
Classroom Rental:
For those that wish to rent a classroom space, room rental can be made anywhere up to 2 years in advance. Payment for the
room rental will need to be made 50% down to reserve the date(s), and the remaining 50% must be paid 15 business days prior
to the class start date. Payment of the remaining 50% after 20 business days from the start of the class will result in a 10%
fee. In the event there is a cancellation under 20 business days from the start of the class, the first 50% downpayment will not be refunded.
For example: If radio and TV stations announce the closure of Fort Bragg, all classes are cancelled for that day. If Fort Bragg is on a 2-hour delay, day classes will be delayed from starting by 2 hours and night classes will be rescheduled. If you have any question, please contact the course instructor, or the AIT Technology Training Office.
